Congratulations to the 2009-2010 Love Your Veggies™ Grant Program Winners!

The makers of Hidden Valley® Salad Dressings are proud to announce the 2009-10 Love Your Veggies™ grant program winners. Each of the ten $10,000 grant awards will support an elementary school in developing a program offering fresh vegetables and fruits throughout the 2010-11 school year.

Grant awards were based on proposals that demonstrated need, innovation, greatest likelihood of sustainable impact on the students they are serving, and potential for community involvement.

The Love Your Veggies™ campaign is extremely pleased to be supporting innovative programs at the following schools nationwide:

• West Bendle Elementary School – Burton, Mich.: “Growing Healthy with Veggies”

• Veterans Park Academy for Arts – Lehigh Acres, Fla.: “Veggie Park Academy for the Hearts”
• Northport School District 211 – Northport, Wash.: “Northport Community School Garden Project”
• PS 6 West Farms School – New York, N.Y.: “Eating Healthy Makes Your Body Wealthy!”
• Chappell Elementary School – Green Bay, Wis.: “Aim for Produce”
• Carson School – Cincinnati, Ohio: “Dip Into Veggies”
• John C. Martinez Elementary School – Parlier, Calif.:” Healthy Harvest”
• Shonto Preparatory School – Shonto, Ariz.: “Returning to Our Navajo Roots”
